A very narrow hole enlarging a vent pipe is the single access to this Irish souterrain. To go down, it is narrow, but you can slide like in a toboggan. To go up, that’s quite another matter, and we needed long minutes, progressing centimeter by centimeter, pulled and pushed by our friends, before to get out of the hole; County Cork ( Ireland), July 2012.
