While we were crossing magnificent landscapes, the sun was declining and the shadows lengthened over the steppe; we were worried that we would arrive too late. Once we were in the rock-cut village, the sun was already hidden by the mountain, but high red clouds would color the rock rose; Meymand, Kerman Province (Iran), October 2015.
