The Fire Mountains (Montañas del Fuego) are volcanic cones that arose during the huge volcanic eruption occurred in 1730-1736. The lava flow in the foreground dates from this time and originated from the Montaña Rajada which is visible in the left background; Timanfaya National Park (Lanzarote, Canary Islands).
